From corporate theft and fraud to unauthorised product matters, TSU consultants investigate the risks that start inside your organisation—and the control weaknesses that allow them to happen in the first place.

Investigating your existing security measures and testing their effectiveness against strict criteria, TSU compiles a comprehensive report of recommendations—and a team of experts restructures your systems and implements the changes.

ONGOING ASSURANCE

Regular follow-up procedures keep risk management active long after the first report, exposing flaws in systems and personnel before they can be exploited and keeping your security measures effective over time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A security risk assessment identifies the threats an organisation faces, the vulnerabilities those threats could exploit, and the likely impact if they did. It ranks each risk and recommends practical measures to reduce it, from physical controls and procedures to staffing and technology.

Security due diligence is the research an organisation carries out before entering a new market, site, or partnership. It examines the local threat environment, political and criminal risks, and the reliability of potential partners, so that decision makers understand the exposure before they commit.

Most security professionals recommend a formal review at least once a year, and again whenever operations, premises, or the threat environment change significantly. Regular follow-up audits test whether controls still work in practice and expose weaknesses in systems or personnel before they are exploited.

Private security in South Africa is regulated by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA), established under the Private Security Industry Regulation Act 56 of 2001. Security businesses and individual security officers must register with PSIRA, which also enforces the industry's code of conduct and minimum training standards.
